I believe mornings are a critical part of each day and how you start the morning will set the tone for your day...well it does for me anyway. So why not work on trying to begin your morning with a positive thought or maybe even two?! For instance...

Today is a new day full of powerful endless possibilities!

or...

Today I am going to pay attention to the beautiful things around me...no matter how small they may be and be Grateful for all that I am and all that I have and all that I am becoming!

I believe whatever you focus your mind on, expands and grows... so it makes sense to place focus on the good in your life right?! Right! Not that I am unaware of the chaos going on in the world, however, I cannot control that...God is in control of all that nonsense. I must stay in control of myself and my thoughts if I want to stay in a peaceful state of mind and be happy.

Now... I am not one of those people who wake up, open my eyes and jump out of bed...oh no no no...I lay there for a hot minute contemplating getting out from under the warm comfort of blankets, I will usually pull my knees to my chest and stretch my back for awhile...then begin to think about what day it is, what things are on my to-do list and then I get up and begin the normal every morning routine... brush my teeth, wash my face etc....give Yoshi (my dog) his cheese ball which contains his vitamins, grab his face while kissing his head, telling him what a good boy he is and that I love him... Now its my turn to take my vitamins, make a cup of coffee and head downstairs to my special place.

In this space, is where I feel the closest to God. Here, I do all the things which are good for my soul...like Yoga, Meditate, do my Angel Cards, Read, Listen to music...In this place is where I have done my deepest grieving after the loss of my son Jonah as well...sometimes sobbing uncontrollably from the depth of my soul...there are times of course, that my tears still fall...and I have accepted this reality...I will miss my son until I take my last breath. But my heart has done some massive healing which, without my Faith in God, I truly cannot imagine how my severely broken heart could have mended like it has.

So...each morning my routine is to come to this space and I pray first for myself...asking God to help me live this day with a Compassionate Heart, to be Clear with my Words, to be Gracious in my Awareness, Courageous in my Thoughts and Generous with my Love...I actually have these words written and in front of where I sit, because they resonate deeply with me...and it is who I want to be.

Then I send light and love to my loved ones here on earth and those that have passed and then to all of humanity. I am always thankful for my Angels (you know we all have them right?!) sometimes sending them light and love too! Then humorously thinking they probably have enough already! Lol!

Some mornings I will write in my journal, sometimes writing special prayer requests and always being Grateful. I have a few books readily available and typically read a little something inspirational.

A lot of times I will listen to a YouTube video while I am lifting my weights or stretching.

Having a morning routine works for me and is ever changing but it has become a "must do"start to my days...I highly recommend beginning your days with positive intentions and then watch how God and your Angels work with you, because you must do your part you know...it is a true team thing!

I hope my sharing these deeply personal actions I do...helps you to come up with your own beautiful morning rituals.

Sending lots of love to each one of you Beautiful people!

Here’s a well-known story attributed to Albert Einstein that involves a professor and a student...hope you enjoy it...

Title: “The Absence of Light and Evil”

Once upon a time, in a university classroom, a professor posed a challenging question to his students: “Does evil exist?” He wanted to engage them in a thought-provoking discussion.

A brave student raised his hand and confidently replied, “Yes, it does! God created everything that exists.”

The professor, an atheist, countered, “If God created everything, then God also created evil. Since evil exists, according to the principle that our actions define who we are, then God must be evil.”

The student remained silent, seemingly defeated by the professor’s argument. The professor felt triumphant, believing he had disproven the Christian faith.

But then another student stood up. This student was different—a young man who had been quietly observing the debate. He asked, “Professor, does cold exist?”

The professor scoffed, “Of course! Have you never felt cold?”

The young man responded, “Actually, sir, cold doesn’t exist. According to the laws of physics, what we perceive as cold is merely the absence of heat. Absolute zero (-460 degrees Fahrenheit) represents the total absence of heat. When something lacks heat, it becomes inert and incapable of reacting. So, cold is merely a word we use to describe our perception when there’s no heat.”

The professor was taken aback but remained engaged. The young man continued, “And what about darkness? Does it exist?”

The professor confidently replied, “Certainly! Darkness is real.”

The student countered, “Again, you’re mistaken. Darkness is the absence of light. We can study light, but darkness remains elusive. A simple ray of light can penetrate even the darkest space. We measure darkness by assessing the amount of light present.”

Finally, the young man asked, “Sir, does evil exist?”

The professor hesitated, then replied, “Yes, we see it every day—the cruelty, violence, and inhumanity in the world. These manifestations are nothing but evil.”

The student smiled. “Actually, sir, evil doesn’t exist unto itself. It’s like cold and darkness. Evil is merely the absence of God. Just as darkness disappears when light enters, evil dissipates when goodness prevails.”

The professor was left speechless. Perhaps he had underestimated the wisdom of his students. And the young man? Well, rumor has it that he went on to become one of the greatest scientists of all time—Albert Einstein.
