Thoughts on Charlie...

I have had overwhelming feelings about this young man named Charlie Kirk since he was assassinated on September 10, 2025 right before our eyes on a college campus in Utah.
Yes...he was loud and proud about his political views as well as his beliefs regarding his Christian Faith.
I am not writing this because of my political views or Charlies...I have chosen to write this because of the heaviness my heart has felt since he was senselessly murdered in broad daylight.
It was an unprovoked killing, that I believe happened because of his Christian and Political views.
This intelligent young man was all about humbly listening to others' opinions...allowing anyone to voice their thoughts...even if it was different from his own beliefs...which most times they were different...but that did not deter him from having difficult conversations about controversial topics.
The microphone always went back and forth from him to his audience members in a mature calm fashion...where he listened and then responded.
Charlie was Super intelligent and could rattle off facts at an astounding speed! He was never rude and treated everyone respectfully. His intent was to help educate the younger generation on God and about his conservative beliefs which he was unbelievably passionate about. It was clear to see he was up to any and all debates with integrity and a brain filled with knowledge!

Do I align myself with everything he spoke of? No... but I still respect his fearlessness and intelligence. The fact that he was going into these college campuses with audiences who could be tough... to say the least...well, what a courageous and brave soul he was!
He was a strong-willed young man who never backed down. He only wanted to teach the goodness of Gods Grace to all who would listen...his Faith was Huge! He was the biggest Jesus freak I know! (I mean no disrespect by that comment) I have never seen such a strong commitment to the Bible and the sharing of love he had for Jesus...Charlie could recite Bible scriptures like no other!
Some people despise others who have a huge platform, who do not share the same opinions as them... then...we have some media channels which pick and choose pieces of debates Charlie had...only putting parts of conversations out in the public...
if we the public don't hear or read about the entire conversation, of course the message becomes what the teller wants you to believe...
Lies are not just telling untruths but when you leave out half of or even part of the actual conversation, it changes the entire narrative to what they want you to hear and believe... verses what the true message actually was.
Our country is in a spiritual war...I believe the entire world is for that matter...I can feel it deeply can you?! My Faith in God tells me there is a reason this happened and all will be well...but my heart is feeling heavy and hurts ...not just because of what happened to this man...but also for his little beautiful family who are now without a father and a husband...
There have been responses from some people regarding his untimely death, which I cannot comprehend the thoughts behind the heartlessness, the evilness is unbelievable...
It is unfortunate how some people are blinded by putting themselves into a political labeled box, making it impossible to grasp anything outside that perimeter. Are they not able to see the absolute horror of what happened to Charlie?
There are people on social media stating that he deserved what he got, basically celebrating his death?!? WTH! Are you kidding me? How can people be so cruel? What happened to being human?!? To me...it shows the true character of a person...who they really are at their core...it is beyond heartless to rejoice in the brutal murder of anyone... not just Charlie.
Do your homework! See the real man in action and check out his videos online... which there are many to choose from. You may not agree with some of what he had to say, however you can see for yourself what Charlie was about.
This Brave-hearted man has helped a lot of people in his short-lived life...he tried to get people to see a different way to live, to have Faith in something bigger than themselves. He did not hurt anyone except for hurting some feelings because of his opinions he openly shared which did not align with theirs.
This is America and he had every right to speak his truth... just like everyone else does.
It would be a wonderful thing if we could get back to the days where it is OK to not agree on things...you know...agree to disagree! Let's start to have civil debates and try to understand why the other person feels the way they do...like Charlie did. It is not that difficult to do.
The past couple days I have been watching many of his videos...I encourage you to do the same...you may just learn something.
One particular video touched my heart deeply...he was asked by a young man..."when you die, what would you want to be remembered for?"...Charlie responded..."I want to be remembered for courage for my Faith, that is most important to me"
He really was a messenger of love and peace.
I believe the beautiful seeds this brave young man planted in thousands, maybe even millions of hearts and minds...will grow throughout the world...it is my hope anyway...
God Bless Humanity...God Bless your soul Charlie...you did a lot of good here on earth...and God Bless your wife and children...maybe...just maybe this will be a true "Turning Point" for humanity...
I guess God had other plans for Charlie...and now...without a doubt, I know he is flying high with Jesus...
One more thing...my oldest son Jonah and I would have spiritual discussions regarding God. He would question his beliefs as we all do at some time in our lives...well not long after he had passed away, Jonahs's spirit came back to me saying..."Mom you were right about Jesus..." it was just another validation in my life that lifted my soul at a time I needed God more than ever...
I hope and pray you all...
Choose Faith... and Always Love...xo
Brenda
